Across from county owned woods and down the road from Nature center. Great place to get away for peace and quiet. Walking distance to Oak Beach and 2nd smaller beach Thompson along with a small store offering pizza, ice cream and groceries. 1 Mile from beautiful Putt Putt also offering ice cream. Beautiful Fall Experience! This property requires 2 day minimum.

Summary: It was not mentioned anywhere that the house is next door to a campground, but luckily it was very quiet so it didn't interfere during our stay. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable but most of the house beyond the living room could stand a little updating. The kitchen had sparse supplies and no coffee filters, despite having a coffee maker so we ate meals out. It is notable that there is no AC but with the weather cooling off at night, it was very comfortable for us. If anyone is a sports fan, the tv is not linked to cable so you are unable to view games (Tigers fans). Our GPS took us right to it and it provided a nice home base for a family weekend event.
