Summary: "Great for a female solo traveller I took myself off to Devon for a well needed solo break." The Loft was cosy and clean. I felt very safe there, the location is brilliant for other beauty spots like Salcombe and Totnes. Lukesland Gardens is worth a visit too. The loft itself has lovely skylights that you can see so many stars from on a clear night. Good facilities and the wifi didn't fail me either as I needed to work from my laptop during the time I stayed. You have to visit The Ring Feeder Cafe, it is so lovely, staff were brilliant and the food is excellent too, tip, don't eat before your visit, the portions are really generous. I assume to stay here you would need to be able to drive and the pretty Devon roads can be quite unforgiving on your car if you have a little one like me. ALWAYS pay attention on these roads, you often have to stop to let vehicles through as the roads are quite narrow. Hot water was instantly available in the shower, bathroom and kitchen. I would recommend to any solo travellers looking to explore Devon. Another tip if you are not used to the country life, take wellies and comfy boots if travelling in winter. Thank you Giles and Emma.
