The home is on the public side and has water access shared with the other residents in our small community. Bring your boat or enjoy our two kayaks, paddleboard, and inflatable raft on the lake!
The space
The house is divided into two units. On the ground level, there are two bedrooms, a full bath, kitchenette, and living area. On the top level, there are 3 bedrooms, the main kitchen, main living area and a sunroom. The two units offer privacy and space for larger families/ groups.
The house offers a bounty of comforts and perks: multiple outdoor spaces, an expansive deck, a cozy sunroom, a large yard with a plum tree, two TV rooms, a kid-friendly bedroom, and a detached garage with a golf cart and ping pong table. You’ll have just the right amount of seclusion: removed from the noise and bustle of a major highway or city center, while still having the charm and company of a handful of neighboring lakeside homes.
The open-concept kitchen and living room is an ideal place to unwind, create group meals, and enjoy movies with your family and friends on the 65-inch RokuTV. You’ll find three bedrooms on the top floor: a primary bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, as well as a kid-friendly bedroom with two-twin beds and a queen-size bedroom. There’s a shared full bathroom nestled between the two non-primary bedrooms.
A cozy sunroom overlooking the large tree-lined yard provides a perfect nook to curl up with a book or watch a summer thunderstorm. The top floor also opens up to an expansive deck, where you can catch a glimpse of the lake and the magnificent pink, purple, and orange sunset swirling upon the treetops. Lounge chairs and a dining table make it a versatile space for relaxation or a leisurely meal alfresco.
The ground floor is a full “in-law suite” complete with 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom with two sinks. There is also a kitchenette area (outfitted with a fridge, microwave, Keurig, electric kettle, toaster oven and induction plate) that opens up into a carpeted lounge and TV room, which can be used as a fun playroom for young children. The ground floor opens directly to comfy furniture on the front patio, shaded by the overhang of the upper deck. A laundry room with washer and dryer access is available for guests.
Our detached garage right next to the driveway is set up with a ping pong table and lots of open space for exercising, socializing, and fun.
There is also a kids play set (slide, swing, monkey bars) that was recently installed!
The location is a beautiful venue for listening to the songs of birds of all sizes while spotting adorable woodland creatures like deer and bunnies prancing about. If you listen carefully, a chorus of mooing cows in the distance completes the symphony. The yard twinkles with a constellation of fireflies. A truly magical location for kids and adults alike to enjoy the whimsy and charm of nature.
