Come and stay at our fully-furnished 3 bedroom beach bungalow for a week or more and enjoy all that Hermosa and Manhattan Beach have to offer... without every using a car!... plus as BRAND NEW REMODELED BATHROOM (not pictured yet)...
Our house is located on one of the best streets in Hermosa, right next to the famous 'green belt' that you can use to walk or bike into downtown Hermosa or Manhattan Beach. Or, if you prefer some sand, sun and surf, take the 10 minute walk to Hermosa Beach where you can enjoy the ocean or watch a beautiful sun set.
The master suite is amazing... its the reason we bough the house. It includes a huge bedroom with high ceilings, a humongous walk-in closet and a giant bathroom with separate shower and jacuzzi tub. The master suite also has a 50' flat screen TV, as well as a sliding glass door that opens into the private backyard... great for letting summer breezes flow though the house.
The spacious second bedroom includes a queen bed and shares a full bathroom with the smaller third bedroom, which has a single bed for kids (and a pull out mattress for another kid).
The large living room has plenty of open space and also includes a 50' flat screen plus a home entertainment system. The adjacent dining area has sliding glass doors that also open up into the private back yard.
The kitchen is only one year old, open and gorgeous. Tons of storage and all the gadgets you need. Dining room table and island seating keeps everyone engaged while hanging out.
The backyard is completely kid and pet friendly. Its fenced in and spacious enough throw the ball or play in the sprinklers. We've just built a new volleyball court that is a super fun too. Use our grill and patio dining set for a nice dinner outside in the warm summer air, and we've got a fire pit and an outdoor TV for movies under the stars.
The garage has room for 1 car, our washer and dryer and tons of beach toys, and the driveway can hold three more cars. If necessary, there is plenty of parking on the street as well. Parking is never a problem (but you don't really need a car anyway).
The house is a ten minute walk from the beach (less on bikes), so its easy to head down after dinner for a sunset drink or a nice quite ride on the Strand.
We are also just around the corner from the best park in Hermosa Beach: Valley Park is only a five minute walk down the 'green belt'. The park has a huge field for soccer and other sports, picnic areas, BBQ pits, and handful of great jungle gyms that can entertain the kids for hours. Great for birthdays or just spending time with the kids.
When you want to get out of the south bay, Venice Beach and Santa Monica are less than 30 minutes away, and you can make it to Hollywood or down town Los Angeles in less than 45 minutes. LAX is only 15 minutes away. Or, take the 10 minute drive up into Palos Verdes to see some amazing sights and pristine coves that will make you forget you are in sprawling Los Angeles.
When you are not at the beach, enjoy Google TV, and a super-fast Internet.

Summary: We love this rental! We will definitely stay again when we are in the area. We stayed for 2 months last summer with our infant daughter while visiting family in the area. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the house was a great size and had all the amenities. This is a perfect house for a family with children. They have all the toys, and even brought out a crib for us. We had another family with a baby visit and we were all comfortable for the weekend. The open floor plan with the living room, kitchen, and dining room makes cooking and big meals fun. The backyard is fantastic for playing outside and grilling, and the master bedroom and bathroom are huge. My husband was studying at the time and used the small office in the master as a quiet place to get away. The location was great for us. Within walking distance to the grocery store, restaurants, farmers market, a great park, downtown Hermosa, coffee shops, and one of our favorite mexican restaurants, el gringo. You can walk about a half mile to the beach, or it is a short drive. The green belt is a fun place for a walk or a run. This is a great neighborhood for a family. We would have loved to stay for longer! This is a fantastic area to stay in while exploring the South Bay.
