Under new management from June 2021, this delightful 17th century grade II listed cottage rests in the small rural village of Tintagel, 1.4 miles from Tintagel town centre. Ideally located on the stunning North Cornwall coastline within walking distance of the South West Coast Path. The surrounding area is very peaceful and relaxing with a dairy farm adding to the countryside ambience.
Having recently been refurnished, the ground floor of the cottage boasts a modernised bright and airy kitchen, shower room with walk-in shower, basin and WC and a more traditional dining and sitting room with natural slate floors, exposed beams and log burner. Upstairs has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, and can sleep up to four guests in total. Outside is a lawned and enclosed garden with a seating area for outside dining and off road parking for one car.

Summary: Good location with modern kitchen and attractive garden. Otherwise we were rather disappointed. Fireplace not cleaned before we arrived. There were dirty dishes and cutlery in the drawer which we had to clean. Living room sparse with uncomfortable couches for 2 people. Bedrooms plain and not very welcoming. Coffee machine didn’t work. Very limited supplies in the kitchen. We had to bring our own towels. Overall, a good place to base our vacation; poor value for money. We were happy to leave this morning.
