Located 1/10 of a mile from the private saltwater beach on Pleasant Bay via an Association path, this multi-level contemporary offers a peaceful retreat on Shoal Pond in South Orleans. The main level is open and bright, with a wonderfully open great room, fireplace, dining area, kitchen, entry way, a powder room, and a master suite with queen bed, full private bath, and walk-in closet. Off the great room, a slider opens to an oversized side deck with a view to the pond, creating the perfect place to dine and grill under the summer night sky. The lower level offers a full bath and 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with 2 twin beds. You can also unwind and relax on the lower level, which has a stocked library. The upper level has a bright sitting area and loft bedroom with a queen bed. A flat grassy yard and outdoor shower on the pond side of the house, as well as a washer and dryer, internet, books, and lots of puzzles and games make this home a great place to enjoy the beauty of Cape Cod. Close to Chatham, Orleans Village Center, and all the local beaches (Nauset Beach on the ocean is 6 miles from the house).
