* General Info *
Our home is located in a quiet family neighborhood in the Bennett Valley region of Santa Rosa with the 5,092 acre Annadel State Park directly out the back fence to your right and the 458 acre Spring Lake and Howarth Park out the back fence to your left. Our home is a perfect distance from entertainment of all types: wine tasting in Healdsburg, Kenwood, Glen Elen, Sebastopol, Napa Valley or Sonoma, The beautiful California coast is just an easy hour away, golfing at Bennett Valley golf course is a 7 minute drive or numerous others within 10-30 minutes, downtown Santa Rosa shopping is 10 minutes away and the outlet stores a mere 27 minutes to Petaluma.
* Backyard *
The true jewel of the property. Features a peanut shaped pool and jacuzzi and BBQ. Multi-level backyard features unique levels to enjoy the numerous outdoor areas of the house. The private gated entrance to Annadel State Park/ Spring Lake provides over 5,500 acres of the best hiking, biking and horseback riding in the county...directly out the back gate. Hike or bike the day away then come home to a refreshing pool or relaxing hot tub. The BEST of Sonoma County.
Please note: The black bottom pool is heated by the sun which stays comfortable May through October. The spa is available all year round.

We have an amazing amount of wildlife that you can view from our backyard or you can find out the back fence in Annadel. Our favorite creatures are the two squirrels we named Pete and Deliaha. We have bluejays, robins, woodpeckers, Blue Bellied Lizards and Blue, Purple and Orange Dragonflies that visit the pool area in the summer, hawks, hummingbirds, fowl, turkeys, doves, & vultures. Being so close to nature brings out the wildlife you rarely see.
* Kitchen *
We always stock our favorite fresh organic coffee ready for you to grind and enjoy every morning and highly suggest you enjoy the coffee in the warm morning sun in the backyard. Our kitchen is fully stocked with plates, cups, wine glasses, utensils, spices and all the pots and pans you could ever need to create your masterpiece. We recently completely renovated the kitchen with granite countertops, cherrywood cabinets, brand new stainless steel stove, refrigerator and dishwasher and finished off with bamboo flooring and subway style backsplash. Our fully stocked dream kitchen is now yours to enjoy!
* Living Room *
Our 75 inch TV w/Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime TV and Samsung Plus TV! Our fast internet connection and comfy leather sectional couch are the perfect place to relax and enjoy a movie, gaming or browsing the internet. We also feature a book library (Take one!) and old school gaming consoles (Gamecube, XBox, NES Classic and N64) with plenty of games to remember the good old days (and teach the kids what real gaming was like in our day!)
* Master Bedroom *
Features a luxurious king size bed with walk in closet, dresser, comfy leather lounge chair, work desk and private en suite bathroom with shower. Master suite has a private entrance to the backyard through French doors onto the mid-patio level. Also features a 50 inch High Definition Smart TV w/Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime TV and Samsung Plus right across from the master bed.
* 1st Bedroom *
Features a queen mattress, sitting chair, rolling laptop table, dresser and large closet and shared bathroom between bedrooms.
* 2nd bedroom *
Features a trundle bed with two double beds, sitting chair with rolling laptop table, dresser and large closet and shared bathroom between bedrooms.
* Common Rooms *
Our billiards table is always ready to play and we have around 20 board games & puzzles, plus dominos, cards and poker chips to get those competitive juices flowing. Our Piano room features an in-tune baby grand piano with plenty of room for everybody to gather around and sing some tunes. The downstairs has a connected half bathroom located directly off the kitchen as well. We also have a comfy 24 inch high inflatable queen air mattress that is available for use as well located in the downstairs closet.
We feature Speedy 5G Wi-Fi that covers the entire house, backyard and even reaches the hot tub!
Per our Vacation Rental Permit in Sonoma County there can be no amplified music at any time. In addition, there has a noise curfew from 9pm to 8am so we simply request that you are indoors at these hours. Our maximum nighttime guest cannot exceed 6 persons and the daytime limit is 9 persons. Thanks for making our getaway one of the best in Sonoma County!

Heya! We’re Janet and Spenser and we are so happy you read this far down the page. We are obviously not some multi-million corporation...we are real individuals with a growing family. We have owned and lived in this beautiful home for almost 23 years now and put many years of blood, sweat and tears into making this place our personal paradise. We are both natives to the Bay Area, growing up in Marin and Napa counties and now calling San Francisco our temporary home while we pursue our career dreams. We just had our first child at the beginning of August 2023 and we are so excited to be new parents. You are truly helping save for our newest family addition by renting our home. # Awesome Hikes #
*Easy Walk Around Spring Lake (90 Minutes) - Go out the back fence and take a Left. Follow the gravel path along the stream to the parking lot gate. Follow the gravel path to the right until it turns into a blacktop path and follow around the lake and return via the original gravel path.
*Easy Sunset Hike (45 Minutes) - Go out the back fence and take a right. Go over the wooden bridge and take a right. Follow the path until the Spring Creek/ Canyon Trail split. Go over the bridge towards Canyon trail and take an immediate right following the creek. Follow an easy uphill to your right, past the fence at the top of the hill and right again onto Viet Nam Veterans Trail. Watch the sunset from the few benches or rocks in the area. Follow the trail downhill and take a right at the wooden fence. This trail meets up with the original trail at the spillway. Take a left and return home!
*Harder Sunset Hikes (30 Minutes) - Head out the back fence to the right. Once over the wooden bridge follow the trail up the hill onto Rough Go Trail. Follow Rough Go uphill to the right until you find a view and height you like overlooking all of Santa Rosa. Watch the sunset!
