Great week at the Blue Cabana!
My family stayed for a week at the Blue Cabana during Spring Break. The house was clean and in good condition. We enjoyed our stay, and we would rent the Blue Cabana again! The deck is roomy, shaded, and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting outside and having our morning coffee. The upper deck area has excellent sunrise and sunset views. You cannot see much of the beach from up there, but you can see the Wright Brothers Memorial very well. The house's interior is exactly as described in the listing and the listing's pictures. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The two interior bathrooms worked fine for our family of four. The showers have good water pressure. The kitchen has plenty of dishware and silverware and has all the pots, pans, trays, and cutting boards you would ever need. The living room was very comfortable, and the downstairs game room area had excellent pool and foosball tables that were a hit with our teenagers. Blue Cabana is located in the middle of Kill Devil Hills, with Kitty Hawk to the North and Nag's Head to the South. Being centrally located is a huge benefit. It was easy to go to dinners and activities in either direction. The beach access is an easy two-block/five-minute walk from the house to the public beach access. There were plenty of blankets, pillows, bathroom towels, and washcloths for us to use during our stay. Just like the listing says, they do not supply bed linens, so make sure you bring them with you. There were plenty of stores in the area to pick up needed supplies. There was plenty of laundry detergent and fabric softener sheets for the full-sized washer and dryer.The WiFi speeds were just fast enough to do Teams and Zoom calls throughout the week. We really enjoyed our stay and would have no problem renting Blue Cabana again in the future!

Summary: We rented this house the last week in July. The house had everything you could possibly want in a beach rental. It was literally a four minute walk to the beach and the walk could not be more straight forward. When you get to the beach, there is a beautiful gazebo and wooden pathway leading to the sand. The house itself was adorable! And the bedrooms were spacious and beautifully laid out. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. There was a pool table downstairs that could be converted to ping-pong, our teenage boys love this! There were a ton of towels in the laundry room. There was a clothesline outside that we used. The grill worked perfectly. The deck on the second floor and the third floor are very enjoyable. From the top deck you get a clear view of the ocean. We would definitely recommend this home to family and friends.
