Nestled off the street, this cozy cottage offers a true retreat feel, with being downtown. Five minutes to the beach & ten blocks to downtown, you can walk or bus anywhere. Spacious accommodation with luxurious bedding and an all new kitchen and bath make for a pristine experience with all the comforts of home. Private outdoor lounging and dining areas with hot tub.
All reservations must be over 31 days minimum. Portable air conditioner provided for rare hot days. Now with a KIng bed in the main bedroom.
Families with children particularly like this cottage as it is private and off street with a yard that can be gated. Adults and couples also appreciate the location for its privacy and convenience to all things Santa Barbara.
Additionally there is a private outdoor area for 'fresco' dining and barbecuing or just taking in the sun before or after a relaxing hot tub.
The living room boasts plenty of comfortable seating as well as a 40' large screen HDTV and wireless Internet. A gas fireplace to provide a wonderful ambiance. The 1000 sq ft make this the perfect size for a group of four or a romantic retreat for a couple. Two bedrooms, the main bedroom with a King and the second bedroom with a queen bed complete with luxury bedding and down comforters.
Relax under the flowering trees and take in the wonderful California weather. Santa Barbara's coastal location means that temperatures are usually just perfect, but in the rare instances of a heat spell, we now have a portable air-conditioner we install which keeps the house comfortable for those unusual times.
Set in its own garden setting this private cottage has off-street parking and its own private fenced yard.

"I visit family in the Santa Barbara area regularly during the Winter and always look forward to my stays in this comfortable and perfectly located cottage. The property is set back off the city street in it's own private garden setting surrounded by lovely trees and landscaping. It is completely fenced which is great for my dog that travels with me. I enjoy sitting out on the sunny front porch to do work or just enjoy the peaceful setting. The house is always wonderfully clean and has a large kitchen, very comfortable beds, high speed internet and even a hot tub. Wendy is an exceptional host and is always available to answer questions or take care of any additional needs. The location is very central and just minutes by car to my favorite dog beach, downtown, the funk zone, or the mission/rose garden.
