Minutes to Hollywood, enjoy a quiet neighborhood w tons of nearby attractions at this spacious spot located in the heart of Los Feliz. Close to Griffith Observatory and hiking trails, you'll soak up iconic Hollywood views along with the sun on our front porch & enjoy our calming backyard garden & gazebo. 2-bdrms/1 & 1/2 bathrooms w a large dining room that seats 6, a fully stocked kitchen and washer/dryer in house. Free parking for a mid-sized vehicle. Ideal for family vacations, business travel, or weekend getaway.
The space is a 2-story house with lots of outdoor seating. The front porch area is calm and spacious and comes with a grill—it’s a perfect spot for soaking up some rays, watching the sun set, or enjoying a meal outdoors. There’s also a beautiful backyard garden with a private gazebo that’s a perfect spot to read a book, relax, and even get work done if needed. Backyards this size are a rarity in Los Angeles—this spot is a unique gem.
The downstairs space includes a large living-room area with a big couch, coffee table, 48” cable-connected TV, and a desk that will make for a great work station if needed. The couch can comfortably fold into a bed and comfortably sleep one person. There's a gas fireplace that beautifully lights the room, too! The dining room area features a large table that can seat up to 6. The kitchen space is fully-loaded with all of the cookware/glasses/dishes, etc. that you’d need to make a meal and includes a large refrigerator, stove, sink, dishwasher, coffee pot, tea kettle, blender, and toaster oven. There’s also a breakfast nook area that overlooks the garden—a great spot to start the day!
The laundry room, which includes a washer & dryer along with detergent/softener that’s included in your stay, is just off to the side of the kitchen, as is the downstairs half-bathroom. The back entrances to the garden is in the laundry room as well.
A flight of around 20 stairs will take you to the upstairs space where the bedrooms and full bathroom are located.
The master bedroom has a luxurious KING-size bed and its own 40” Smart-TV that’s cable connected along with a small work desk and large walk-in closet. There’s a private patio with a stunning view of the Hollywood Hills and nearby scenery, complete with seating and tables that make it a great spot for relaxing, working, and enjoying food/drink. The guest bedroom has luxurious queen bed and spacious closet space and features great window views of the garden. We also have a SMART-TV in this room that streams content through apps (it does not have cable, though). Both bedrooms have their own private entrance with locked doors.
We have a large and comfortable air mattress that you can also use anywhere in the house—we keep that in the hallway closet and can help you set it up if needed. Please notify us in advance if you expect you’ll be using it.
The full bathroom, which is quite large, is located in the hallway and has a newly remodeled shower tub.
Cable TV and strong wifi are connected both upstairs and downstairs
This house is perfect for families and business travelers. We can accommodate up to 4 people. If you would like to book for longer than we have the calendar open for, please do inquire, as we can often open it up beyond.
Other Things to Know Before Booking (PLEASE READ THIS):
CLEANING: Because you are staying for 30 nights or longer, the cleaning fee that you pay upon booking covers one mid-stay cleaning and the cleaning for when you check out. The mid-stay cleaning can happen anytime after your 14th day. We will message you to schedule this. If you are staying for longer than 30 nights, we require an additional cleaning and cleaning fee of $100 after the 30th night and again for every 2 weeks that you add to your stay. We are happy to arrange additional cleanings if you’d like during your stay for an extra charge. Please let us know at least 48 hours in advance if you'd like to arrange an extra mid-stay cleaning.
This is a duplex and you are renting one side of the duplex. A friendly and helpful neighbor lives on the other side.
HEAT/AIR CONDITIONING: This unit has gas heat and window-unit AC in the living room and bedrooms. We also provide high-powered fans. Please note that it DOES NOT have central air conditioning. Temperatures are typically mild. During the warmer months, the window units cool the bedrooms quite nicely!
Check-In/Check-Out Times: We use a self-check-in system that allows you to check-in at 4pm or any time after. Check out time is 11am. Generally, we are not able to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs. If you need to drop off bags early we can likely arrange, but PLEASE message us first.
PARKING: We do have a garage available for one mid-sized car (sorry we can't fit a large vehicle/SUVs). There is ample street parking otherwise that is generally unrestricted, except during street sweeping.
PACKAGE DELIVERY: You must get permission before having any packages or letters mailed. We do not offer concierge service, and as such you are responsible for signing and retrieving any packages delivered to you. We are not responsible for any mail that is lost or stolen.
