Positive: Our stay at Sea View Hideaway was truly a home away from home. The 5-day stay was absolutely worth it and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to start the new year. The views were breathtaking — the harbour, the atmosphere, the calm. We felt completely safe with the 24-hour security, and the pools were such a treat for the kids. The apartment was spotless, neat, and had everything we needed. My kids were so happy throughout our stay, which made the experience even more special. I even made friends with the security staff and ended up sharing some of our snacks — such lovely people. The only downside? Having to leave and return to regular programming. We will definitely be back. Sea View Hideaway and the harbour fascinated both me and the kids. The perfect way to welcome the new year.
Negative: I had forgotten how hot Durban gets at night — the air conditioning was an absolute lifesaver. No real complaints at all — beds were on the firmer side, which actually helped us get up early and make the most of our days.
