Summary: There were lots of things we liked about this property. We wanted to be in Irvington, and we needed at least 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We also wanted to host Thanksgiving with some local friends so we needed a dining table that could seat 6. All of that was great. The beds were also very comfortable. It's an older house, so it has the quirks of older houses, but also the charms. The one thing we didn't know ahead of time is that the whole apartment is up a flight of steep stairs, and the bedroom with the king bed is up another flight of 20 stairs. So anyone with mobility problems would have a difficult time. The layout of the rooms and upstairs bathroom is also unusual with no door between the two bedrooms and no door on the bathroom (just a wall to give some privacy when on the toilet). We didn't use that second bedroom, so it wasn't a problem for us. The kitchen was fine for a rental, but the listing said it had a coffee maker so we didn't bring ours. We saw a Keurig machine there, but no K cups. There is a downstairs apartment with a family, so we occasionally heard them (and they likely heard us), but it wasn't a problem.
