Positive: Location was good. Parking good. Shady trees a bonus. Woodland walks pleasant.
Negative: As much as I don't like to be negative, I always think that it is best to let you know of downfalls, otherwise you would not know about it. It could very much do with a towel dryer to hang wet clothes after swimming. It could do with some maintenance like secure kitchen taps, small bathroom to lock better. The TV is Ok but remote control is very worn. Some windows could do with a thorough clean. Ironing board a little tricky and dangerous. ( I speak from experience as I was born and bred in St.Ives and my parents used to run a lodging house.) On the matter of ownership, reception told me it was not theirs (ie John Fowler) and that £60 entertainment charge should have been £65. Not that it mattered too much but it was printed in the contract. Finally, I was offered an arrival time change which I brought forward to 15:00 hrs and not 16:00 hrs. We met the cleaner at 14:45 hrs and she was not informed of this...what was that about?
Summary: Weather was good to stay in a place like this made it memorable.
