New listing for 2024! We've been hosting for years and love what we do!! We are so excited to finally be able to offer this magical place to you, your friends and families.
A short drive from Bandon, Charleston or Coos Bay making day trips easy and fun. There's lots to do on the Southern Coast and the weather is mild year round. Rich in history if that's your jam (it sure is ours!), great restaurants, hikes, lighthouses, fishing charters, and beach walks! Oh yes, the beach walks!!! We have an informative home book for you with lots of suggestions or you can stop at the store on your way in and then never have to leave the property during your stay. Lots of relaxing and meditative spaces on the property to enjoy the ocean sounds and views. Short jaunt 3/4 mi. down the road either on foot, bike or drive to the beach access at 7 Devils State Park with miles of beach very infrequently visited. We are working on our path down to the beach and should be available soon!
Kitchen is fully stocked with staples, spices & breakfast items. Air fryer, rice cooker, vita-mix, coffee, tea and so much more! Clean beauty spa products & only eco-friendly cleaning supplies are used. See full list for more info! You may not have to bring much other than a toothbrush and we have those, too, if you forget! Just ask, I probably already have it at the house for you! We pride ourselves on providing the ultimate vacation experience.
House has 3 levels. Main level has 2 story windows in living room and dining room to bask in the views! Floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace with woodstove insert...super cozy! Also on main is the stocked kitchen, main king bedroom and spa-like bathroom with walk-in shower and soaker tub. Loft has amazing beach views, too, with a cozy reading nook, yoga & meditation props, 1/2 bath, queen and full beds with room for extra sleeping if needed. Lower level huge Captain's quarters has double access and can sleep 6 if needed. (currently set up for 3, just let me know if you have more folks) Enjoy the comfy TV sitting area, desk space, walk-in closet, bar hang out room, full bath with separate commode room. All beds are super cozy with organic bedding and memory foam mattresses.
Hear the ocean from every room and anywhere on the property! Amazing sunsets, birdwatching (we have eagles, falcons, hawks, many songbirds, gulls, & other water birds), boat watching (sailors call us the "glass house" and fish right in front of our house.) You can spot seals, sea lions, & whales! We have binoculars and telescope for your viewing pleasure!
Please note our home on the beautiful Southern Coast is rural, somewhat remote and there is no cell service like most of the area. We have great wifi/internet inside the house only. Once you are outside there is little to no connection. You can use Wifi Calling or our landline. We also do not have cable TV but we so have YouTube TV and access to all the streaming services, some of ours are included for your viewing pleasure or you can log into your own. Any questions PLEASE let us know! We usually enjoy doing outside activities anyway!!
The "breakfast deck" has a big picnic table, covers provided. Table top propane grill, along with lots of outdoor "supplies" are in the garage all for your use like paddle ball, bocce, cornhole, etc. lWe have lots of beach stuff - chairs, towels, bags for your finds, etc.
If you are coming to mountain bike, the attached garage is set up for you to use as storage. We rarely park inside so, we have more space for "staging".
Lots of fun spaces around the property to hang: meditation garden, ocean viewing spot with adirondack chairs, hammocks, vegetable & herb gardens, and soon our beautiful path down to the beach! We have quite a bit left to do so, keep in mind if you see things in process and be mindful when exploring. We've recently had many upgrades like new windows and ceiling fan.
