Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location is perfect: near the center and very comfortable to walk to my destination. It was relatively not noisy, so all good in there. I also enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning.
Negative: The effiiciency of check in office is below any standards: the lady at the desk is slow and unreliable, leaving me without a key to my room for the night. On top of that, she charged me 17% VAT although I explained to her I'm a US citizen. I spent time in other hotels in Jerusalem and was never asked to pay VAT once they saw my American passport. Also, once I got into the room (only when a person in charge arrived, after 45 minutes of waiting, at 10pm), I missed a place to work on my computer - even a tiny side-desk and a small stool adapted to it would help. Luckily it didn't rain and I could work on the balcony...but, in Jerusalem, December, sometimes it does rain.
Summary: It was OK, just for one night. I wouldn't stay there longer.
