CASA LUNA is a 1924 Spanish home that combines the architecture, design elements, and decor reflective of its style. Back by popular demand, this gorgeous property has been enjoyed by guests around the world, and has been a production location for film, television, commercials, and music videos.
CASA LUNA is a historical Spanish- Craftsman home built 100 years ago in historical Jane's Village in Altadena. These homes featured 2 bedrooms and
1 Bathroom, and a large kitchen. CASA LUNA is 1.4 miles from an entrance to NASA'S Jet Propulsion Laboratory, (JPL), 2.4 miles to the fabulous ROSE BOWL- home to sporting events and concerts, and 3 miles to OLD TOWN PASADENA including the famous East Colorado Boulevard - the location of the ROSE PARADE Route and the many wonderful dining and entertainment opportunities found there.
CASA LUNA is available for a 2 night minimum stay and a 4 night minimum stay at Christmas. The maximum instant booking stay is 28 nights but it can possibly be available longer by sending me a detailed request and reason for a longer stay, dependent upon availability. Complimentary weekly housekeeping is provided for monthly stays. No film shoots allowed.

Upon opening the front door of CASA LUNA, you are enveloped in a warm and colorful open concept space that is the Living and Dining Rooms.
The villa is centrally cooled and heated for your comfort.
In the Living Room there is comfortable seating for 4. There is a 55 inch television with a Firestick featuring Hulu, Netflix, Prime Video, Discovery and other apps. There is a floor fan and an Alexa for your music preference. The Living Room has windows facing the beautiful front porch and the hot pink bougainvillea framing the front of CASA LUNA.
The Dining Room features a glorious Mexican hand painted sideboard and mirror, a rectangular dining table with ample seating for 6 for a lovely meal in or the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion with your family.
You will have access to placemats, linens, beautiful stemware and place settings of vibrant bohemian plates and serving pieces.
The Milagro Room has a queen size bed featuring a Select Comfort mattress.
Milagro means miracle in Spanish so this room features traditional Mexican art reflecting the theme of the room. This warm space features dark rustic furniture with Mexican decor and colorful bedding. There is an LG 42 inch smart television with a Firestick featuring Netflix, Prime Video, and other apps. There is also a ceiling fan, an Alexa for your music preference, a sound machine and phone charger station.
A glass door from this bedroom opens outdoors to a spacious, totally fenced patio with twinkle lights to show off our lovely California landscaping. There is a loveseat, plenty of chairs, and a sun lounger for relaxing and a dining table for 4 under a pergola for outdoor entertaining at it's best.
The Baja Room has a queen size bed featuring another extremely comfortable mattress. The Baja Room pays homage to the colors and joy that is Mexico. The hand carved and traditional bright colored Mexican furniture fill this bright room with light and love. There is an LG 43 inch smart television with a Firestick featuring Netflix, Prime Video, and other apps. There is also a ceiling fan, an Alexa for your music preference, a sound machine and phone charger station.The large double windows facing towards the front yard will give you a perfect view of butterflies and hummingbirds that love visiting the casa.
The gorgeous Mexico inspired bathroom features a 100 year old original porcelain tub and shower with antique faucets and a magnificent Mexican talavera tile vessel sink.
The kitchen is bright & beautiful & features a hand carved Mexican island and a functional 1950's Wedgewood stove and brightly colored pottery, and Dia de los Muertos happy skeletons. There are open glass cabinets filled with everything you could want for a lovely dinner prepared at home in this cook's kitchen. Fully equipped with absolutely everything you could need!
I am delighted to provide you with breakfast for your first morning so no need to rush to the grocery when you first arrive. In the refrigerator, you will find the most delicious granola cereal with original flavor coconut milk, croissants with jam & butter, and a fruit juice. There is both a Keurig and a drip coffee machine, and an electric kettle available for you. And of course, coffee pods and ground coffee, an assortment of tea bags with creamer and assorted sugars. Please also enjoy your Welcome Snack Basket filled with an assortment of crackers, chips, cookies, & candies. Special occasion or celebration? Prosecco and a beautiful charcuterie is available for $100. Please let me know at least one week in advance of your arrival and I will send you the add on payment option.
