Positive: The apartment is spacious and modern. It has clearly been recently renovated. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was adequately equipped. The shower’s water pressure and temperature (nice and hot) were fabulous. For me, the location was perfect. The hosts were responsive and friendly.

Negative: This place has great potential, but so many details haven’t been properly taken care of. Worst of all: there is no mattress protector, so the mattress is stained, and the sheet is stained and ripped, plus the pillow cases are faded (see photos). When you stay somewhere, you expect pristine white sheets, so this is really unacceptable in my opinion. Other than that, the sofa is pretty bad: the seat cushion starts to slip off as soon as you sit on it, so it’s not very comfortable. The fridge light doesn’t work. All the crockery and cutlery seemed very slightly dirty - not terrible, but not perfect either, and perfect is what you expect when you stay somewhere like this. More pots/pans would be a good investment too. Finally, in a few cases, the host didn’t communicate that well. told me I could check in early then suddenly said I couldn’t - when I inquired, they explained it was because a plumber was coming, and it all made sense. Same with the ironing board which was missing as the previous guests had broken it… the host should be preempting this by saying “I’m sorry but… because…” rather than waiting for me to express disappointment to explain.

Summary: A nice apartment… but SO many details to be improved
