Positive: I stayed at this apartment in Vannes last weekend with my dog, booked through Booking.com, and overall, it was a fantastic stay. The apartment itself was really cosy — small but incredibly well laid out. I was honestly amazed by how efficiently the space was used, making it feel much more comfortable and functional than any hotel room of the same size. It had everything I needed without feeling cramped. The highlight for me was definitely the garden terrace. Having that private outdoor space made such a difference, especially travelling with my dog. We both enjoyed relaxing outside, and it gave the place a much more homely and peaceful vibe. Another big plus was the option for a late check-out, which gave me a bit more flexibility on departure day. The location was also ideal — being right next to the coastal trail was a real bonus, perfect for walks with my dog and for enjoying the beautiful scenery Vannes has to offer.
Negative: A Few Constructive Suggestions There were a couple of small things that could be improved to make the stay even better: • More power outlets or a multi-plug extension would have been really helpful. I needed to telework, plus charge my phone and other devices, and with only three plugs — none of them conveniently placed — it was a bit of a struggle. • No scissors in the kitchen — maybe it’s just me, but I always end up needing a pair! It felt like a basic item that was missing. • The bottle opener was broken, which was a bit of a disappointment. I’d bought a nice bottle of wine on Saturday, only to find I couldn’t open it — a real shame.
