This carriage house loft space is truly magical. Designed to be the perfect place to unwind while visiting Louisville. The studio space has small kitchen with all the essentials and a small dining area. The queen bed has a memory foam mattress and is tucked into a nook with mood lighting.
As a bonus there is a hidden room that you access through a bookcase! This cozy space is just big enough for two twin xl sofa beds and large TV. The ceiling sparkles with stars! A must see!
The Space:
Dogs on property! Do not book if scared of dogs.
Upon arrival you may park you vehicle in one of the two dedicated parking spots.
Access to the loft is up a custom built curved staircase and small private deck.
Directly inside is the kitchen where you’ll find everything you need to prepare food during your stay. A small induction range can be found on the countertop. And the microwave oven also doubles as an oven and air fryer.
Under that is a retro mini fridge with freezer.
The dining area seats 4 comfortably.
The primary bed is a memory foam queen bed surrounded by mood lighting. USB outlets are on either side for easy access to charge devices.
In addition to a small wardrobe there is a large closet to store belongings. There is a dedicated laptop space next to the bookcase. Feel free to explore and use items on the bookcase which holds books to read, as well as puzzle books to solve.
The living area has a large television and comfortable seating as well as more usb outlets that also charge via USB C.
The bathroom has a water fall shower. The mirror lights up to make getting ready a breeze. Want to listen to music while you get ready? Connect your device to the Bluetooth speaker fan and enjoy all your favorite tunes.
Use the books on the top left of the book case to access the secret star room. This cozy space has two built in sofa’s that double as XL twin beds. There is surround sound speakers that make this place perfect for winding down watching your favorite show or movie. You can change the color of the stars on the ceiling. Stars that actually twinkle!
Please note that the star room is a small space with low ceilings. The secret entrance is less than 24 inches wide. This space is not ideal for larger people.
The air-conditioning and heating is shared amongst the lower level Button Burrow space and the Upper level Star Loft space, We ask that you keep the temperature moderate to what the weather is outside so that both units will be comfortable.

Plenty of shopping, and restaurants are within walking distance from the loft. Freeway access is only a short drive making almost anything you'd like to do in Louisville is less than a 20 Min drive away.
This property is located close to Ballard High School, but feels private and secluded. However, If you stand outside in the evenings you can sometimes hear sporting events taking place at the football field. The owners of the property enjoy the sounds coming from the school, however if that is something that might bother you, please consider a different property.
Getting Around:
Having a car at your disposal is the easiest way to visit Louisville from this property. However access to a bus line is a short 10 min walk from the property.
