This stunning property comprises of a Finca and Cortijo located next to each other and set in gorgeous mature grounds with sea views, mountains vista’s and the lovely village of Comares all vying for your attention.
Each of these properties can sleep 6 guests and have been designed to offer a high quality, charming and unique holiday experience for the travellers that would like to experience a beautiful unspoiled area of Andalucia which is practically located to tour the area but also gives tranquillity and space to relax from everyday life.
The gardens are mature, colourful and designed to allow for sun and shade in equal measure and quirky areas lend themselves to guests having their own space to divulge in reading or local research, if though the group wants to be together the lovely 8 x 4m Roman Stepped pool is perfect and in the evening a group game of boules is always appealing in the court below.
La Zahurda as well as being a superb location for group holidays also lends itself to being a great base for walking, climbing and many outdoor pursuits, plus great for bird watching groups.
The views are an incredible stimulation and natural for painting holidays, writing groups and also cooking courses in a lovely environment are on the agenda.
The owners have a keen interest in introducing this incredible place to all different styles of travellers so please do ask if you have a specific hobby we can help cater for or offer advice.
This property is also located so that although you are in a peaceful location you can also leave the cars on the drive and walk up to the amazing and historic mountain top village in around 15 minutes.
Decent shoes and a good torch are a recommended requirement, though one of these items we can provide !
La Zahurda Finca:
This is the larger of the 2 rentals and offers the following – 3 bedrooms – sleeps 6.
Lounge:
Large spacious lounge area with 3 large comfy sofas and open fireplace for winter evenings. The large doors open out onto a covered Terrace area.
T.V. with DVD player. Radio/CD player. Wi-fi is available. There are books/board games/cards etc for you to use.
Kitchen:
The Kitchen is located up some stairs from the lounge area, it is fully equipped with Electric Oven, Gas Hob/ Microwave/Fridge / freezer/Toaster, Kettle, Coffee machine/Cooking utensils, Cutlery, Crockery.
There is a table with seating for 6.
There are doors leading out onto the front Terrace with shady seating area.
The other doors lead out onto a large covered Terrace space with table and chairs and great views to the Sea and surrounding mountains and looking down to the Pool area.

Bedroom 1:
King size bedroom with plenty of storage space, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. There is a great en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Mosquito net above the bed area. Door leading out to covered Terrace.
Bedroom 2:
Double bedroom with wardrobe, bedside cabinets and mosquito net over the bed area.
Bedroom 3:
Spacious bedroom with twin beds, beautifully furnished with mosquito nets above the beds.
Bathroom:
Large bathroom with Shower enclosure, toilet, sink. The washing machine is also located in here.
La Zahurda Cortijo:
Smaller but equally charming and well equipped. 3 Bedrooms – sleeps 6.
Lounge:
Spacious lounge area with comfy sofas and wood burning stove. TV and DVD player. Dining table with seating up the other end of the room and access to a furnished terrace at the front and steps down to terraces and the pool area.
Kitchen:
Well equipped kitchen with oven/hob/microwave. There is access to a side Terrace with table and chairs and views looking up towards Comares.
