Summary: I stayed in this property with another female friend of mine, and honestly when we first pulled up to the property, we were slightly terrified. Take into mind, it was pitch dark, with very little street lighting. Within 5 minutes of property, we noticed a ton of trash everywhere, graffiti, boarded up windows, etc... and it just felt unsafe. We thought about getting a hotel instead, I'm glad we didn't. I was thankful there was a garage we could pull into and enter from back of house, instead of the front. That was actually the only reason we stayed. We did feel very secure once inside, and Joe, the host was very kind and responsive. The beds were wonderful, the house was decorated very tastefully. The water pressure was great. I loved the stain glass and character inside. I think a man traveling alone or couple would feel perfectly fine, but I'd advise against this location if you are a female traveling alone, or mom with young children. Happy travels.
