Summary: This was such a great rental experience! Our group of 7 (men) had plenty of space for all of our gear, the house and property are both comfortable and full of character, which really creates the feeing of staying at a family cabin and not just a vacation rental property. Some of the listing photos are a bit outdated; there is a nice large dining table (perfect for family meals or board games) and a large sectional sofa in the living room. There were a few gnats that found their way in at night (because it is a lake house in the woods), so if you are sensitive to things like this when renting, please keep this in mind as it is a reflection of the environment more than the house/host. The home is positioned in a great location, right in the middle of the West Seneca wine trail, but it is tucked below the tree line and right up against the lake. The host was very friendly, communicative, and accommodating. The neighbors were friendly but not obstructive, and the proximity to Geneva was perfect for dinner out in the town. We all had an excellent time and the house was a major component of a memorable weekend trip!
