Positive: The location was perfect, right in the heart of everything with a delicious bakery right across the street for breakfast pastries. So many coffee shops and restaurants all around, we were spoilt for choice. The apartment was immaculate, tastefully furnished and so well equipped with everything you might need. In fact our only gripe was the kitchen was so well equipped we struggled to find a place to store our food 🤣 The bed was large and so comfortable, as was all the furniture. The owners left a delicious goody bag to welcome us, full of local treats and essentials, which was a lovely touch. I can’t fault the apartment, everything was excellent, and Lyme Regis is a beautiful spot full of quirky shops and great food. It’s a great base for exploring Dorset and I’d love to go back again.
Negative: Absolutely no fault of the owners but there was a burst water main outside the building which meant we had no water for a couple of nights, and had to listen to the workmen drilling all night. Took the shine off an otherwise perfect stay
Summary: I could not recommend this apartment any more highly. The perfect cozy base in an amazing location.
