Summary: Bronze Buffalo Ranch at Teton Springs – 2.5 out of 5 stars There’s no denying it—this place looks the part. Rustic, warm, inviting… like a page ripped from a luxury mountain lodge brochure. Full kitchenettes, proximity to the Tetons, quiet surroundings—on paper, it checks all the boxes. But for over $1,000 for two nights, I expected more than just pretty wood paneling and decent air conditioning. Let’s break it down: The Good: The property itself is stunning. It really is beautiful and peaceful. Full kitchenettes with dishes and cookware—awesome in theory. Ample parking. The A/C kept the summer heat in check. Staff was polite and helpful when around. The Not-So-Good (aka The “Wait, What?” moments): Coffee pot from Hell: Had to MacGyver it to even work, and it never shut off on its own. I discovered it still on more than 24 hours later. That’s not charming—that’s a fire hazard. Hair-raising tub issue: Was excited for a soak after hiking. The tub wouldn't fill… until I performed minor plumbing surgery and pulled out what looked like a small woodland creature made entirely of old hair. So yeah, no bath after that. No basics available: There’s no on-site store or even a small essentials corner. Forgot butter or Advil? You’re making a 30-minute trip. For a place with kitchenettes, this is a huge miss.
