Positive: Loved the location. Having a really comfortable bed is a must in all properties and this property did just that. Absolutely loved the darkness of the room, completely blacked out. We loved the log fire however, the owners were very tight with the logs not sure if they would charge for additional ones but to be fair we didn't ask. The hot tub was lovely and a perfect temperature for a winters night. It was also great to be able to regulate the central heating in the property to our liking, i.e. not locked in on a timer at a certain temperature. The property also had a washing machine and tumble dryer some properties only have a washing machine and an airer so well done.
Negative: The settee was not comfy at all, too low down to get on and off, not tall enough to support your back properly. It would benefit from a more modern larger settee moving forward. With all that said, we did love the property just not very comfortable of an evening on the settee. The size of the room would also take a bigger TV on the wall. Not wanting to sound like a princess but we stay in 5* properties each year in UK and further a field and these properties have all of the above and much more.
Summary: Lovely accommodation in a great location.
