Tides Reach is a stylish detached house situated in the village of Wyke Regis near to the town of Weymouth in Dorset and benefits from its close proximity to the National Sailing Centre and The South West Coast path. The house can sleep 5 people in three bedrooms, one king-size double, en-suite with shower, basin and WC. One twin 2'6" singles (slightly narrower than standard) and one standard single as well as a family bathroom, bath with shower over, basin and WC. The rest of the house is made up of a kitchen and a lovely sitting/dining room. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for 2 cars and an enclosed rear garden with lawn and steps to patio area. Tides Reach is stylish detached house located in the wonderful village of Wyke Regis and is perfect for active families who want lots of adventurous activities on their doorstep.

Enclosed rear garden with lawn and steps to patio area. Fuel and Power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc.in rent. Welcomes 2 well behaved dogs at cost of £21 per pet per week. Sorry no smoking.
Town: Wyke Regis sits on the south western side of Weymouth and the northern edges of Portland harbour whilst reaching as far as the back of Chesil beach and The Fleet. 2 miles from the centre of Weymouth. There are local shops, cafés and restaurants including The famous Crab House café, with it’s own Oyster beds on the doorstep. The National Sailing school, an Olympic legacy, offers a wide variety of water sports and is just 2 miles away on the edge of Portland harbour. The Fleet lagoon that runs between Wyke Regis and Chesil beach is an important area for wildlife and there are many species of birds to be seen in the area. Chesil beach is also a renown spot for fishing. The Fleet is probably most famous for being the testing ground for Barnes Wallis’s bouncing bomb, immortalised in the film the Dam Busters. Wyke Regis is the perfect location from which to explore many of Dorset’s most iconic locations on the Jurassic coast.

Summary: Too much storage space in the kitchen was taken up by crockery, no where to store our own food, the knives were blunt and the fridge was a bit old and clunky. Overall the house was clean and tidy, however the main bathroom shower screen seals were very grubby, broken and leaked water all over the bathroom floor. Also, the bed in the single room was not a full size, would not recommend an adult sleeping in there as feet are dangling over the end. All this said, would deffo book again, and hope we can do this next spring bank holiday
