***Note this property has tons of 5 star reviews already for our listings of the UPPER unit and LOWER unit on VRBO. Unfortunately when we combine the listing into one listing VRBO does not allow those reviews to transfer over to the whole listing. We point this out since some people are hesitant to book a listing with zero or few reviews.
WHO WE ARE AS HOSTS;
We have been VRBO/HomeAway Premier Hosts since 2016 and have over 700+ reviews on VRBO/HomeAway alone for our 20+ properties in multiple locations and countries. Our average review rating is 4.95 stars average out of 5.0 stars. Additionally we have many thousands of reviews online with other website booking companies. We always respond to any guests concerns immediately and have a well seasoned staff in every location.
GENERAL INFORMATION;
***This is a two unit cabin and you are renting the entire place meaning both the UPPER and LOWER level units. So the really cool thing is you are getting two rentals for the price of one, in one location, yet each group of people has their own private floor! Each unit has it's own entrance and exterior areas. Each has full kitchens, living rooms and dining areas, 2 bedrooms, full bathrooms and laundry rooms. Each unit also has it's own exterior hot tub that can fit 4 people. So while you can all stay together in one spot and you have your own privacy as well.
***The only fee we charge is a low $110 cleaning fee for the entire house. We have no other fees we charge so there are no surprises when you go to pay for your booking. The only fees you will see is the VRBO/HomeAway booking fee which they charge each guest and keep plus local taxes as required by law. We take an additional 10% off the weekly rate and 20% off the monthly rate.
***We have negotiated a special 25% discount for all people in your group with Nacoochee Adventures and ziplining for our guests. You will be given a special code when you book with us.
***We also have an incredible and extensive Trip Planner Document that we give to each guest that has awesome tips on everything from; where to eat and drink to wineries and waterfalls and everything in between. Most guests find that document to be invaluable.
***You can also rent just the UPPER unit or just the LOWER unit if you have a smaller group so just ask us. Obviously the price gets cut in half as well. We have another rental property in Clayton and three more in Helen so if this property is booked for your dates, we may have other options for you - just ask.
***Please note we do not accept any pets, emotional, support or therapy animals due to extreme allergies/health related issues in our family.
LOCATION;
"Cute and Chic in Clayton" is located less than half a mile to downtown Clayton so you can pretty easily walk into town. Part of the walk is on the grass shoulder of the road and then converts to a sidewalk the rest of the way. Driving into town is one minute and there is lots of free street parking. Clayton has activities for everyone such as; many restaurants and bars, ice cream parlors, coffee shops, antique shopping, art galleries, river tubing, golfing, hiking, parks, wineries and tons of waterfalls. There is something for everyone. While Clayton has a ton to do locally, we are also convenient to many other North Georgia attractions. We are about 15 minutes to Lake Burton (Anchorage Marine side) where you can rent pontoons boats, 60 minutes to Ski Sapphire Valley, 15 minutes to Tallulah Gorge State Park and about 35 minutes to Helen. Our property is in a very safe and quiet residential neighborhood providing the perfect mix of being just outside of downtown Clayton so you are close to all the action, but also not directly in the downtown area so you can enjoy the wooded private feel, fall foliage and nature. You can see deer, foxes, hedgehogs, the occassional black bear and lots of birds at our place. Overall our property is in a great location to explore everything in the north Georgia mountains.
HOUSE OVERVIEW;
The roughly 2150 square foot air conditioned and heated home has an upper level and a lower level. As stated previously, you are renting the entire house both the upper and lower units. So the cool thing is that you get two houses in one including two full kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms, laundry rooms, etc. so you are altogether under one roof, but have your own private floors. Like all of our rentals we make sure the kitchens are very well stocked for all your cooking needs. It was totally renovated and redesigned and has a chic, comfortable, stylish yet country feel to it. There is new vinyl wood flooring throughout, shiplap wooden walls, beautiful pine tongue n groove ceilings, fresh paint and decor in both units. We have parking in two driveways for up to 4 vehicles. The property has a few lovely outdoor sitting areas both covered and open. It is wooded around our home with neighboring houses along the our street. Overall the house is very comfy and appealing for a nice stay in a great location. We have lots of photos with very detailed listing descriptions to help you learn more about our house and the surrounding areas. There are also two 4 person outside hot tubs, one for each level of the house!
UPPER UNIT DETAILS;
The kitchen is open to the living room and the dining room is just off the kitchen. It is a huge open living room with a gas fireplace and lots of seating options. There are tons of windows in the upper unit letting in superb natural light. The dining room has a faux fireplace, dining table with 4 chairs and a counter pass through to the kitchen that can sit 2 more people on stools. The cute full bath is off the living room and has a shower / tub combination. There are two bedrooms, both with queen beds, side tables, lamps, dressers and closets for excellent storage. There is also a large laundry room with inside access with a full size washer and dryer. There are lots of windows to let the natural light inside. We have excellent Wi-Fi which of course is FREE to access along with a nice 40" Smart TV equipped with over 300 channels and of course Netflix, Prime, Roku, etc.
LOWER UNIT DETAILS;
The main living space is a studio style large open area with the kitchen, living room, small dining table with chairs and sleeping area with a king bed. There is a large Armoire with drawers and a built in small closet for hanging clothes. There is a separate fully enclosed additional bedroom with a double bed with excellent storage with wall shelving, walk in close and a shelf style dresser. There is also a full size washer and dryer room inside the unit. There are windows along the kitchen and living room to let the natural light inside. There is cute good size full bath with a walk in shower. We have excellent Wi-Fi which of course is FREE to access along with a large 50" LG Smart TV equipped with over 300 channels and of course Netflix, Prime, Roku, etc.
