Positive: The host Alexandra is wonderful and very helpful! The little house has all that you need for your stay. The plunge pool is very useful for the hot days. Alexandra’s recommendations for bakery and restaurants were very nice. Rooms did not overheat and the aircon was very useful. Cute cats visiting the property. Thank you very much to our host for coming early in the morning for the check out (and bringing goodies for the road)!!
Negative: There were a couple of things that were maybe not ideal, especially for long stays (we managed for our short stay): -beds were not comfy for us, mattress was thin and hard -showers were tiny, difficult to use. The surroundings were not as nice as the house (the derelict house attached and the gribble). It did not matter for us but might matter to someone else: 1. the internal staircase is extremely tight and abrupt, not necessarily suitable for bigger persons or people with mobility issues, 2. The road to the house may be difficult for small cars, you need horse power to run uphill and a bigger car for the dirt road.
