HOUSE DESCRIPTION
Wanda Wanda House is nestled between the calm bay of Wanda Beach, the Wanda Wanda Headland, & a cute row of shops offering every convenience. The house offers guests a super stylish and incredibly convenient base for their Port Stephens holiday.
The highlight of Wanda Wanda House is arguably the stunning (and spacious) outdoor area, complete with huge swim spa (hot tub) and BBQ.
The two-storey home has two separate living areas, ducted air throughout, three bedrooms (all with ceiling fans), and two bathrooms (one with bath).
The fully landscaped backyard feels like you’re part of nature, and has a cute fire pit (winter only) and seating area on the upper-tier – the perfect spot to enjoy the native birds. The dining room spills out to an expansive covered outdoor area that has multiple seating areas, BBQ, and of course, the popular swim spa / hot tub.
Throughout the interior of the home is stylish furniture, brand new beds and mattresses (made up with luxurious linen ready for you arrival), leather lounges, original artwork, lush towels, salon quality shampoo and conditioner, and beautiful plants to make you feel at home. You will literally walk in the door and start your holiday.
No expense has been spared with the provisions in the kitchen, with Miele oven, stove and dishwasher, a fridge with filtered ice and water dispenser, and brand-new quality cookware, dinnerware, glassware, and cutlery.
Need some ‘Netflix and chill’ time? We have you covered with Wifi, SMART TVs, and of course, a Nespresso capsule coffee machine (guests must use their own Netflix and streaming logins).
Wanda Wanda house has an internal laundry with front loader washing machine, clothes dryer, and third toilet. Off street parking makes life that little easier.
HOUSE MAINTENANCE
Spa servicing takes place weekly, typically on a Wednesday (note this takes approximately 30 minutes). Lawn maintenance is also on a Wednesday, but not weekly.
For stays over 14 days, we require access to complete a mid-stay clean and linen change.
PETS
We will consider allowing one small dog to stay provided they are fully house trained , well mannered, and not left at Wanda Wanda House unattended. Note that approved dogs incur an additional $100 cleaning fee.
LOCATION AND NEARBY AMENITIES
There is no better location. Literally 100 steps to Wanda Beach, perfect for fishing, kayaking and SUP-ing. The home is a short, flat walk along the sand to Bannisters, home to the world-renowned Rick Stein restaurant and Cheeky Dog bar – we can highly recommend the cocktails!
A three-minute drive lands you at the Soldiers Point Marina, offering multiple (and delicious) dining options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prefer to stay closer to home? 150m away you will find the cutest row of shops that includes a small grocery store, butcher, baker, liquor store, pharmacy and a number of takeaway options. If you’re chasing waves, we are a short drive from Birubi and One Mile Beaches, renowned for long lines of swell all year round.
ACTIVITIES
Between May and November, Port Stephens is the place to be to watch humpback and southern white whales make their annual migration to and from warmer waters. Dolphins can be seen year-round, including cruising the calm waters just 100 steps away at Wanda beach.
There are so many options for beautiful walks in the natural beauty of Port Stephens. From the easy stroll around the Wanda Wanda headland starting just 100 steps to the north of Wanda Wanda house, to the infamous Mount Tomaree Summit Walk (2.2km return), challenging but so rewarding to reach the top and see the spectacular 360 degree view of Port Stephens.

NOISE AND UNREGISTERED GUESTS
Note that this home is in a quiet, residential street, and we love our neighbours. It’s a place to relax and enjoy the surrounds, not to party in, so noise restrictions apply.
Quiet time is from 10pm to 8am, but we also ask that you are respectful of our neighbours' peace and quiet at all hours. If the neighbours complain at any time of noise or of disrespectful behaviour (eg. swearing, yelling) you will be asked to vacate the property immediately.
We can accommodate a maximum of 6 adults. No unregistered guests are permitted to stay at Wanda Wanda House.
SPA / HOT TUB
The spa must be secured at all times when not in use, with the cover locked. Children must be supervised at all times when using the spa. Strictly no 'jumping' into the spa - a cracked shell would be disastrous and very costly to guests.
All sand must be washed off in the outdoor shower or tap prior to getting into the spa.
Please do not use the spa if you are wearing fake tan. A tan 'ring' around the water level will incur additional cleaning costs.
OTHER RULES
Wanda Wanda House is strictly no smoking.
We ask that guests refrain from using fake tan before using our white towels and sleeping in our white linen. Tan stains will incur replacement costs.
We ask that guests do not wear their shoes inside the house, and do not place their suitcases on our beds.
PETS
While we are animal lovers, small dogs pre-approved to stay must be fully house trained, not be allowed on our furniture or bed, and must never be left unattended at Wanda Wanda House. Unapproved pets may result in being asked to leave Wanda Wanda House.
