Located right on the East shore, the Boat House on Cayuga Lake offers incredible views in every direction. From the kitchen and family room you have unobstructed views of the Lake to the South, West and North. The Walnut grove provides a sense of privacy and seclusion. You have arrived!
Inside, the Cape Code style home you'll find beautiful knotty pine beams, and modern nautical theme merged together to form the most ideal lakeside retreat. The open galley kitchen is surrounded by windows and is tastefully accented to carry the nautical feel throughout. The cabinets are fully stocked with all your favorite cooking and baking wares. Entertaining is a breeze with a space like this! A formal dining area provides panoramic views while you eat, and you feel as though you are dining alfresco. Completing the entry level you'll find the master bedroom with king size bed, and ensuite bathroom. Upstairs the additional two bedrooms with queen beds have up to date décor. Additional sleeping arrangements include a family room loft with two twin beds, and a queen size pullout couch. All the comfort you will need to enjoy your finger lakes stay.
Outside enjoy a large wrap around deck that leads to either the upgraded beach area and a permanent dock, or the hot tub and screened in gazebo. Activities on site can include fishing and watching sunsets from the dock, swimming in the lake, boating/kayaking, or searching for lake glass on the beach. Stroll the walnut grove that surrounds the 8-acre property, or take a walk out the lane to explore the ponds. At night build a fire in the custom iron fire pit and enjoy the cool lake breeze while waves lap the shore. Keep an eye peeled for wildlife including bald eagles and osprey snagging fish from the lake, to deer, mink, fox, and beavers around the wooded property.
