Summary: No holiday home is perfect, but this one is very, very good.We loved the private, shared lakeside garden, swimming in the turquoise lake, the beautiful views.The apartment itself is a good size, with well equipped kitchen, effective aircon, generally comfortable but could do with a little attention in places.The village of Duingt (pr Dwang) has a great bakery, a couple of shops, some bars and restaurants. Exactly what you need.The town of Annecy is special and worth a visit, just 20 minutes up the road. There's great walking in the hills surrounding the village, a famous paragliding centre for those inclined, while the high Alps are a hour's drive. If you love activity holidays, this place has got it all. Alternatively, just sit back on a sun lounger with a good book and soak up the quiet mountain-lake vibes. It's all good.
