Completely surrounded by natural beauty, this 3 bedroom cottage is located on Via del Ronco, a charming street that leads to the Boboli Gardens. Situated in a quieter more residential area of the Oltrarno, this accommodation offers a peaceful escape. A wonderful location for those traveling by car as it is outside of the limited traffic zone.
The home can accommodate up to 7 people with 3 bedrooms, sofa beds, and laundry facilities.
Essentially elegant in design, the cottage is decorated with meticulous attention to detail. Completely renovated with traditional Tuscan charm, there is a warm atmosphere throughout the home. Each of the three bedrooms has a double bed and there are sofa beds throughout the space to accommodate larger groups. The bathrooms and kitchen are all fully equipped with the highest level of fixtures and necessities. French glass doors lead to the enchanting outdoor area. Complete with a full outdoor dining patio, the garden exudes a romantic vibe, especially on summer evenings when lit by candlelight. A wonderful space for entertaining and enjoying some peaceful moments under the Tuscan sun.
This charming home is an ideal choice for a family or group of friends looking to enjoy a quiet holiday in Florence while still being well connected to all of the attractions of the historical centre. A heartwarming, secret garden retreat.
Please note that as part of the weekly upkeep/maintenance of the garden a person will come by Monday/Wednesday/Friday at 6pm.

Summary: This home was like something out of a movie. Its design, size, decorations, and charm were stunning (even the many pictures don't do it justice). It's also right around the corner from the Boboli Gardens (and a great restaurant called Trattoria Boboli) BUT... you need to understand that the home does NOT have air-conditioning and mosquitos are a real problem. So it's really important to understand this; obviously, the time of year is very relevant as to whether this will apply to you. We stayed in mid-June and it happened to get to 100 degrees the second day we were there. We did contact the management company and simply asked that they get some fans for us. We were initially met with pushback but remaining firm, we were pleased to arrive home after a day on the town to have four fans. This made all the difference in the world. The management company was VERY good at providing tips on everything we asked for, including a driver to wine country and an in-home chef for hire. We would highly recommend this place assuming you are comfortable without A/C and don't mind being covered in bug spray if you plan to utilize the beautiful (and private) backyard gathering area pictured.
