Manor Cottage is located just 2 miles from the centre of Chard Town. Chard is a picturesque Somerset Town, providing many local amenities including numerous supermarkets, pubs and restaurants, cafes, museum, weekly markets and events and retail shops.

A well equipped good sized kitchen, installed in Summer 2023. With brand new cooking equipment, dishwasher, cooking equipment and a welcome hamper for our guests on their arrival.

This is a one bedroom barn conversion but has a very spacious feel to it, with high ceilings and skylights, and original ceiling beams and original brickwork features throughout. It has a real quality feel about it and has plenty of room to accommodate a family, with 2 adults in a double room, and a further 2 guests sleeping on a sofa bed which we can make up in the living area.

Bedroom

A good sized double bedroom, with an extremely comfortable memory foam mattress. Wardrobe and bedside tables. Furnished to a high standard. Towels provided. The bedroom backs onto a very peaceful private garden area, so you can be almost guaranteed an excellent nights sleep.

Bathroom

Stunning, light and airy good sized bathroom, with large walk in shower installed in July 23. Extremely clean with a quality and luxury feel to it. Large skylight and high ceilings in the bathroom providing a spacious and very comfortable environment.

Guest access

All of the barn is yours to enjoy – we will provide you with exclusive key access so you can come and go as you please. We provide parking for 2 vehicles to the front of the property but can accommodate further vehicles on request. We are more than happy to meet you on arrival and show you around the place, but you are also welcome to let yourselves in if you are not sure of your arrival time.

Sat on the fringe of The Black Hill Downs an AONB (area of outstanding natural beauty) you are never far away from picturesque, fertile, green rolling hills. You have all the amenities you need as the listed cottage is sandwiched in-between Ilminster and Chard towns

Other things to note
We welcome a well behaved dog, but we do ask that they do not get on the furniture or bedding. We also ask they are not left in the accommodation on their own unless they are in a locked crate and not for a long period of time.
