The space
(Due to the high season and demand, in August the rent is on a weekly basis, from Friday to Friday). Sardinia's "Emerald Coast," a storied land rimming the island's northern tip, is heralded as much for its celebrity vacationers as for its beauty. Italy is not short of amazing places to visit —think about the Amalfi Coast, Umbria, the Dolomites. But “Costa Smeralda” as the Italians call it, or “Monti di Mola”, as the Gallurese (people from Gallura, north of the island) say it, has to be one of the most ravishing ones. Every bend of the road offers another expansive panorama of sapphire seas, of stark granite headlands, of beaches framed by fragrant juniper and oleander and myrtle. Still little known by most Americans, Latin Americans, and Asians, it is a corner of the Mediterranean adored by Italians and in-the-know Europeans.
Our apartment is located at the quiet Golfo de Marinella beach. The closest airport or port is in Olbia, which is about 10miles (17km) from Golfo di Marinella. It is a comfortable 2-bedroom apartment in the Eucalyptus residence. It has about 50 square meters (or roughly 600 sq feet), with a large living room integrated with the dining and kitchen area. It fits comfortably 4 people and can be expanded to 5 or 6 if 1 or 2 sleeps in the living room. It has a modern American kitchen, a small balcony with a table and chairs. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the other bedroom has two twin beds. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, bidet, and a washing machine (for laundry). It has a small TV with some Italian cable channels and a dedicated parking spot. Every room has a separate A/C (air conditioning), also the living room/kitchen has one A/C.
Bedsheets and towels are not included, can be provided at an extra cost of 30 euros per person per week (to be paid cash on arrival).

Facilities. This unit is part of a group of condominium of owners, renters and a hotel. There is a large swimming pool (you can do laps). The view is fantastic, as you can see on the pictures, it has ocean/beach view, you can see the sunset and sunrise. The beach is 200 meters away (220 yards), that you walk through a pathway covererd by woods. There’s a tennis court (hard floor) available for guests. Also the condominium structure offers a restaurant in case you wish to avoid walks.
Golfo di Marinella beach. At the beach you will find bars and restaurannts. It also has a club that is open in July and August called club blu, for the young crowd. The water is totally transparent with white sand making a astonishing contrast. There are no waves, which makes it perfect for families with kids too.
Stores, markets and restaurants. From June to September there is a few options of small to medium markets and hairdresser, newspapers, pizza place, restaurants nearby (walking distance). Porto Rotondo is located at 2.5 miles away, with fancy shops, boutiques, bars, restaurants. Another option is Golfo Aranci, that is 2,5 miles away and offers more restaurants, markets and fish markets.
