Positive: The pool was great, it was never very busy (although they did say they limited the amount of people to 25 - it didn't quite get to that amount any time we were there, so not sure if that was enforced or not!). The surrounding area was nice, and we liked that the apartment was only a minute or so walk from the pool. The location is good - close to supermarkets and not far to the beaches by car. The apartment also stayed really cool. We found we only had to have the air con on for an hour or so when we first got home in the afternoons and then we could turn it off. This was great as the electricity is charged on top when you leave. Not too many bugs - didn't get any bites in the evening when we sat at the table outside for dinner. The communication from the host company was great once we made contact over WhatsApp the day before we travelled (not so great before that point though!). They were really nice and friendly, quick to respond and we had our electric bill promptly when we checked out and it was very reasonable.
Negative: In the weeks leading up to our arrival I was trying to communicate with the host company via their website, which they ask you to login to when you book. I found it hard to get a response to my messages, and even when I messaged via Booking.com they didn't always respond. Hence, we ended up adding another bag onto our flight so we could take our own bedding as they did not respond when I asked for us to add bedding to our booking. It's annoying they have this flashy website where you should be able to book everything online, but then none of it works and they don't respond to messages. The apartment is very basic and has not been maintained very well. I think the pictures on the advert are a little misleading as they are of multiple apartments and are mostly not of Suite G which we had (the one with the brown kitchen and green storage baskets). The apartment is very small for a family in terms of the living area and it only had three chairs at the dining table, and three chairs outside (of which some were broken). This meant we constantly had to move chairs between inside and out as we were a family of four. The shower is awful - the temperature changes from hot to freezing about every 30 seconds and you can't point the shower head down so you end up having to hold it in one hand. The cubicle is also fairly small and old. I think the apartment was cleaned well, but because everything in it was old/badly maintained it still felt a bit grubby. Also the bed was not comfy at all. I understand Sardinia is expensive, but this didn't feel like value for money given the state of the apartment. It's a shame because it could have been really nice, and I think the other apartments shown in the photos would have been. On the pool - the pool is great, but it is closed between 1-3pm every day, and also closed all day on a Monday.
Summary: Over-priced and photos are misleading if you get Suite G!
