Positive: We loved everything about our visit. Hugh made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and by the time we left we felt like we had been visiting an old friend. The location is beautiful and our little cottage was very cosy and comfortable. We are animal lovers, and for us Brampton Dales Farm is animal heaven with chickens and the two pet sheep, Ronnie and Reggie, roaming freely about the place. The atmosphere Hugh has created is very much one of a previous era, which again we loved. A million miles away from, and far better than, the antiseptic feel of a modern chain hotel. The full English breakfast was excellent and the price for our stay was very reasonable.
Negative: There was absolutely nothing to dislike.
Summary: Countryside bed and breakfast as it should be, welcoming, comfortable and great value.
