Summary: We used this hotel as a base for the British Open Golf at Royal Birkdale, Southport. Whilst being further away than we thought (our fault not theirs) we had an excellent stay with the staff being very friendly and helpful and a good evening meal in the restaurant and a very acceptable breakfast the next day. If staying in the area, I'd highly recommend the Brook Hall hotel.
