Positive: The apartment was beautiful with an amazing roof terrace all to ourselves We had wonderful views of the mountains and the lake The apartment was very clean and well equipped and very close to the bus station and center of Bardolino There was also a great supermarket just across the road The apartment was on the top floor so the steps up to it certainly kept us fit The owner Daniela was so kind and left us a lovely fruit basket, wine and a cake Daniela didn’t speak much English but her lovely brother Emilio did and he translated for us Emilio showed us how everything worked in the apartment and gave us his phone number if we had any problems or questions Emilio even drove us back to the airport at 7am in the morning Just a beautiful genuine Italian family
Negative: The stairs might be a bit much for someone with mobility problems but did not cause us any problems I slept in the large bed and it was really comfortable but my sister found the single bed mattress a bit uncomfortable
