Casa la Scala take its name from the village of Scala, where the house is located. This medieval hamlet is just 2 km from the enchanting town of Ravello; this is actually the oldest town of the whole Amalfi coast; its location is ideal for trekking offering magnificent views of the coast and the Lattari mountains.
Casa la Scala is part of an ancient building its location offers some of most amazing views of the surrounding mountains, down to the Ravello town going down the beautiful sea of the Amalfi Coast. In this cozy hamlet is possible to experience the real life of the locals, full of traditions with local products, traditional restaurants and markets.
The beautiful private garden is about 200 square meters made of grass and 20 square meter of terrace, offering stunning view of Ravello and sea, a covered patio with table and chairs and barbeque for al fresco meals; there is also a heated Jacuzzi overlooking the sea, external shower, and sun lounges.
The house on its interiors develops in two floors of about 120 square meters; at the ground floor there is an open space with dining/living area and well equipped kitchen and one double bedroom with private bathroom with bath tub and shower. The bedroom has direct access to the outside area.
18 steps takes to the upper floor with two additional double bedrooms both bedrooms can also be converted into two single beds. Both bedrooms have private bathroom with shower.
The house was recently renovated with new furniture inside offering comfort and elegance, it si fully air conditioned, sat TV in each bedroom, internet wifi, washing machine, private parking at garage for two cars, microwave, barbecue and Jacuzzi
Access to the house is by 50 steps down the main road, we recommend to have a car in order to easily access to the whole coast, mid-size car are recommended in the Amalfi coast, minivan are not easy to use in the narrow roads.
Neighborhood and distance:
Restaurant and grocery are within few minutes by car, Ravello 3.7km about 5 minutes by car, it is also reachable by walking in about 30 minutes. Amalfi 8.6 km (about 20 minutes by car) in amalfi there is a ferry thakes to Capri, Positano, Salerno, Napoli and other destinations; Positano 25 km; Naples 60 km
Important information:
A 30% deposit is required upon confirmation. The balance is due within 60 days prior to arrival. Minimum stay: 7 nights arrival day Saturday.
