Ticinese-style minestrone, nettle soup, polenta and milk (a children's favourite), polenta and braised beef, polenta and cicitt, busecca, risotto and luganighetta, rabbit in salmì, stew, juicy grilled ribs and puntine, alpine cheese, gorgonzola, amaretti biscuits, bread cake, are dishes that are part of the Ticinese tradition.
