Negative: This is my first time writing a review on Booking.com, even though I’m a Genius Level 3 traveler and have used the platform many times. The host was really nice and welcoming, but unfortunately, the listing did not reflect the reality of the accommodation. We were placed in the underground level (-1 floor), although the photos suggest access to the full house, including a patio and bright spaces. In truth, the unit "Seminterrato" is accessed via steep stairs, has no patio, and receives no natural light. The only air comes through the front door, which opens into a vertical stairwell. Small windows in the bathroom and bedroom face an enclosed space, offering no ventilation. The apartment remained dark and humid, especially in the bathroom, and the fan didn’t help. The space was also clearly smaller than the advertised 50m². There was no phone signal, no sofa (just hard chairs), and no washing machine. Noise from upstairs neighbors was very noticeable and constant, and during the night, a light would switch on through the small internal window in the bedroom whenever someone upstairs used the shower, which was disruptive. We paid €10 per person for a light blanket and three towels (large, medium, small) for the week. This felt excessive, particularly given the lack of laundry facilities. Trash disposal was difficult due to unclear local collection rules and a lack of proper bags. Worse, ants appeared immediately after cooking, making it impossible to store waste inside. While the apartment was clean and the host was friendly, the listing was misleading. Clearer, more accurate information would help future guests set proper expectations.
