Sitting one mile east of the airport and only 0.2 miles from Expo Center Gate 6 makes this the perfect place to begin and end your day after concerts, sporting events, Derby and conventions. Bourbon Trail? Just five miles to Whiskey Row, Angel's Envy, Old Forester and Rabbit Hole Distilleries. You'll be just 10-15 minutes to the Yum! Center, Convention Center/KICC, Cardinal Stadium, Patterson Stadium, Louisville Slugger Field, Lynn Family Stadium and the many other attractions Louisville has to offer, including the Louisville Zoo and Kentucky Kingdom.
Pull up the driveway and park at the back of the house in one of your six private spaces. Use your key code to enter into the kitchen where you’ll find everything you need to cook full meals or just set up grab and go snacks. The breakfast nook seats 6 and is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee while you plan your day. Coffee grounds, pods, flavored creamers and sweeteners are all stocked for your convenience.
Your spacious living and dining area is complete with another table for 6 and lots of space for your group to spend time together watching TV, playing a game or planning your next adventure. Also on the first floor, you’ll have 2 large bedrooms with Queen beds and plenty of closet and drawer space to unpack and make yourself at home. The full bath, with both tub and shower, is furnished with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap and make-up wipes as well as a blow dryer and plenty of towels and washcloths. The front door opens to a large, covered porch where you can enjoy some fresh air, even on a rainy day.
Upstairs, you’ll find a quirky walk-thru bedroom with a sleeper sofa and an area to hang out in that includes a TV and large selection of board and card games. This room leads to a private bedroom complete with queen and twin beds. The second floor also features a second full bath.
You'll find more room to spread out and relax in the basement with a sitting area, 53" inch TV, full-size air hockey table, 2-person basketball game and two twin beds. The basement is also where you'll find your washer and dryer, complete with detergent pods and fabric softener sheets as well as an ironing board and iron. There is a large table in the room to make folding easier.
For my guests' safety and security, there are two active cameras, one on the front porch and one on the back. Both record audio and video when motion is detected. The front porch camera monitors the porch, steps and sidewalk, while the rear camera monitors the back deck, steps and parking area. Maintaining my guests’ privacy is extremely important to me, and these devices serve only to provide safety and security.
