Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Exceptional, welcoming stay at Dar El Kendil. Easily the best place we stayed during our 12 day trip to Morocco. Fatima, the owner, is very warm and friendly and made us feel at home right away. The location of the house is great as it is located in the middle of the old medina and all the main attractions are easily accessible, but it's also tucked away into a slightly quieter area. The house itself is beautiful, with fantastic colorful tilework throughout. The rooftop terrace also provides an interesting birds-eye view of the medina. The house is very clean and comfortable. Communication was easy and Fatima responded to our messages promptly. We were traveling on a bike tour, and when we realized there was no way to store our bikes in the house, Fatima figured out another place we could store our bikes during our stay. She and her husband also provided us with a ride from our bikes to the house and made sure we didn't get lost. We were also so thankful for the delicious breakfast that they tucked into the fridge for us for the following morning, with moroccan pastries and breads and eggs. It is clear that Fatima pays attention to the smallest details and treats her guests like family, and we wish we could have stayed longer.
