We welcome your whole family! Pet friendly for animals with current vaccinations and flea control.
1950's home with recent renovations to make your stay most comfortable. The house sits in the host’s childhood neighborhood. Explore Gainesville and enjoy the convenience of being tucked away in a bubble of old fashion neighborhood charm.
So much natural light and plenty of space to relax. The screened in porch welcomes you to sit for coffee and conversation while the front porch rockers invite you to rock the night away.
Charming parquet wood floors, quilts and wrought iron beds...
When you decide it's time to hit the hay, nestle under the quilt on a brand new queen gel mattress. You won't want to get up but when you do... coffee and tea is stocked and ready for you!

The television is a 65” smart TV. We have an antenna but do not offer cable. Feel free to log into your own streaming services. We hope you enjoy the many choices offered by this “way-smarter-than-me” TV! If you’re looking for a special live athletic event, we suggest Gator Dockside right around the corner! Try the wings!
Fenced in yard for your pet to explore. Also enjoy walking the neighborhood with your leashed pup. Loblolly trail head is close by as well as WestSide Park. Much to sniff and “water”!

Ample parking in the driveway on the south side (LEFT SIDE) of the house. It is lit along the fence for when you come home late.

Quiet neighborhood and very walkable. Walk your family to the park, to the woods, to the stadium or even to dinner!
Ride share services like Uber are available as well as public transportation. There is a bus stop at the end of the block. If you’re headed a little further to explore local springs or adventure farther to theme parks, Hwy441 and I-75 are easily accessible from the house.
The Gator Getaway has an attached suite we call The Hoggtown Hideaway, also a short term rental. Separated by a wall and double locked laundry room (laundry may be available upon request), your living space, parking and yard are private and you should never see the other guests.
This home has beautiful parquet wood floors. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED. If you're traveling with your pets, please check our profile for one of our other PET FRIENDLY PROPERTIES. All of our properties are in the same neighborhood, offering the same great proximity to UF & hospitals.
We ask that you treat the house and neighborhood with respect.
