Greenbank House is set in the beautiful Langdale Valley, within walking distance to the popular village of Ambleside. This is a large, stunning luxury cottage with plenty of space, and set in the best possible location for hiking and exploring nearby, within walking distance of local amenities.
Opposite the ever-popular coffee shop Chester's on the River, and within rambling distance of Cumbria's most beautiful waterfall, Skelwith Force. The Talbot Bar about 100m away serves classic Cumbrian dinners, and excellent ale.
This house was built around its panoramic views of the mountains from the lounge, conservatory and bedrooms, and is secluded by private gardens. There is a big kitchen, with a large lounge and dining area, which easily accommodates 10 people. We place a priority on very comfortable mattresses, and change them regularly to maintain this.
One double room and one twin room have ground floor access, with two bathrooms, including a walk in shower, bath and two kitchenettes, for independent downstairs living. The main lounge and main kitchen is located on the upstairs floor.
