Positive: The hosts were lovely. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating to our requests. The location was also good. Whilst it was little out of town, it was close to public transport and was very easy to get into Milan. Being out of the centre meant that it was quieter and street parking was free.
Negative: It is a shame, but I have to be honest and say the accommodation was a bit basic. This isn't normally an issue but our view was it was also a bit tired and in need of some renovation. I have to add that it wasn't as clean as it could be. Especially the shower and around the kitchen surfaces. We had to avoid using the chopping board and some of the kitchenware as they were clearly not to our standards. I also have to say that the use of the air conditioning is at the owners discretion. We had been out walking in 30deg heat all day. When we requested the controller we were told it wasn't warm enough and we should open the windows. We were provided with fans which was acceptable. UPDATE: above is my original review. Please be aware that the owner will continously harass you into changing your review if she isn't happy. The manipulation starts before you even leave the property. I stand by my review as an honest and fair reflection. As I said to the owner, it is just my opinion. I could have said more (eg I agree with other reviews regarding the mattress and pillows), but I tried to be fair. She overstepped the mark with personal comments in her response. She was also factually incorrect. It makes me wonder how many of her other reviews have been manipulated. Be wary!
