A cottage with a fantastic location right on the lake. You have a view of beautiful Lake Bälingesjön. A perfect accommodation for the nature lover and close to central Örkelljunga. There is a rowing boat at the beach that you can use during your stay, where you can also swim in the lake. A fishing license is required for fishing in the lake, You can buy this at Bälingesjöns Fiskeförening.
The house is more than 100 years old but we renovate every year. This winter we are renovating the bathroom to 2025 year standards and replacing the windows in the north bedroom.
At the entrance to the cottage there is a small hall. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment. The living room is spacious and there is a sofa group as well as a dining area for 5 people with a lake view. The bathroom has a shower. In one of the bedrooms there are 1 double bed, 1 single bed and one cot in the other bedroom there are 2 beds. Between the bedrooms is a small hallway with lake views. At the beach there is a barbecue area, here you enjoy warm summer evenings. The area where your cottage is located is idyllic and very scenic. In the forest there are nice walking paths and around the lake you can hike on trails and smaller roads. A larger public bathing area is about 200 m away, where there is a lake bath with jetty, kiosk and barbecue area. A little north of Örkelljunga is the Kungsbygget adventure park. On Hallandsåsen you can visit Vallåsens ski resort in winter time. A short drive away are the beaches of Vejbystrand and also the metropolis of Båstad. There are several golf courses in the area, the closest being Örkelljunga golf club golf club. Örkelljunga also has one of the country's best mini golf courses. A few miles north, at Markaryd, is the moose park, a fantastic excursion destination for the whole family.
