Summary: This was a great place to stay for our extended family of 8. The house was large, warm and well-equipped with extensive grounds and was in a beautiful location at the base of Hanging Rock. We loved watching all the birds and the kangaroos. It was a great base from which to explore the surrounding towns of Woodend, Lancefield, Macedon and Kineton and of course we climbed the Rock. There are some great restaurants in the area and we particularly enjoyed the Cleveland Winery in Lancefield.
