THE APARTMENT
This large and spacious 2 bed apartment with breathtaking views has been furnished throughout to an excellent standard offering a very comfortable stay. There is large open plan lounge-kitchen-diner layout. The kitchen is fully equipped with crockery, pots, kettle and hob oven with grill toaster. Washing machine and clothes line. The lounge has a TV, CD player, games and books.
There are 2 double bedrooms with comfortable beds providing for a good night's sleep; the beautiful master bedroom has a double bed, large wardrobe and has an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds, a large wardrobe and direct access to the large terrace area via french doors. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge area allowing for the apartment to comfortably sleep 6 people. The main bathroom also has a shower.
There is a beautiful large terrace with sun loungers and a dining area for those that like to eat al fresco.
THE COMPLEX
The apartment is located on quiet and secure gated residential complex consisting of only 24 apartments and 11 villas and is accessed by radio key-fob. The apartment is ground level with parking available directly outside the entrance, however the actual apartment is situated elevated enough to provide breathtaking sea views. The large swimming pool can be accessed via small steps or hand-rail and also overlooks the sea with the active volcano Stromboli, smoke slowly rising from its summit, clearly visible on clear days.
THE LOCAL AREA
There is plenty to do and see in the local areas and further afield for those that like to explore more. We would advise hiring a car especially in the summer months. Whist the nearest supermarket is a relatively short walk, it is downhill, along a busy road and it is HOT! A car is also advantageous for making the most of the surrounding area whilst soaking up the culture. However, the nearby towns of Tropea, Vibo Marina and Pizzo are all accessible by the small local railway. For eating out we recommend visiting Tropea with its numerous restaurants with the most amazing seafood, pasta and pizza on offer.
