Positive: We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel as we like to discover local cafes, but we were tempted as it looked delicious and extremely good value for money. The location was perfect for our needs. We wanted to explore the Marais. We also used the nearby Batobus to visit the Eiffel Tower and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs. If we’d had more time it would have been a fantastic way to explore other major sites. The hotel was perfect for our needs: well appointed rooms; pleasant public areas but most importantly the staff were brilliant hosts. They gave us a warm welcome every time we passed through reception, were highly efficient when asked, for example, to organise a taxi for us, and generally gave us the best hotel experience we could have had.
